Manifesto
It accompanies a moment of creation, a project.
It prefers art and its freedom.
It removes barriers between practices.
It surrounds itself with perspectives and beings, in search of meaning and beauty.
It resonates with sensitivities.
There is no beauty in art without the beauty of the soul.
Thus, families and friendships are formed.
It imagines unexpected encounters between opposing worlds.
What does art know that science ignores?

Anahita Vessier
Founder d’Anahita’s Eye, art consultant, curator
Born to an Iranian father and an Austrian mother—he is an architect, she is an herbalist—Anahita Vessier lived as a child in a large house surrounded by her family in Tehran. Generations lived together; her grandparents lived there, as did her artist cousin. One summer holiday with her maternal family in Austria coincided with the violent chaos fracturing Iran, causing them to stay in this other country. Anahita Vessier was cut off from her Eastern roots and experienced exile.
In the city of Graz, she grew up serene, protected, and free. She discovered contemporary Austrian and German literature and was captivated by the works of great Viennese painters like Klimt, Schiele, and Nitsch. As a young student, she engaged in a free and curious trajectory, studying art history in Vienna and working at the Burgtheater, a vital reference of German theater culture. Her keen eye led her.
Passionate about the gesture and history of fashion, she trained and became a stylist and designer. At Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design in London, Anahita aimed to complement her practice. She dabbled in graphic arts, guided again by her eye and transcultural identity. In an era that saw the rise of artists like Damien Hirst, Tracy Emin, and the Chapman Brothers, Anahita Vessier forged new connections with the emerging art scene.
From London, she moved to Paris, where love blossomed. She began her career as a stylist, designing for others and herself. After becoming a mother, Anahita founded her own bespoke fashion and haute couture house.
In 2009, Anahita Vessier became a producer for the author duo Kuntzel+Deygas. For nine years, she supported their artistic expansion in France and abroad. Her perspective, multicultural background, and rigorous financial approach created value and supported creators in various projects: advertising campaigns, film credits, exhibitions, and exceptional collaborations emerged.
In 2017, echoing the home of her childhood, Anahita returned to Tehran, seeking a reconnection with her origins to heal the bond with herself. Anahita Vessier reestablished a fertile connection to her roots. She anchored her journey in the landscape and art venues, accompanied by her artist cousin, exploring galleries. A few years later, she launched the Tehran Now initiative, a platform promoting the Iranian art scene within the Asia Now contemporary art fair in Paris.
Anahita Vessier bridges worlds, cultures, and countries. As a guardian, weaver, and transmitter, she simultaneously created Anahita’s Eye, an office to advise, protect, and enhance the work of artists. This office fosters connections with brands, cultural institutions, and collectors.
At the project’s origin is the creation of a magazine that explores the contemporary art scene. Published in three languages—French, German, and English—it features painters, sculptors, textile artists, photographers, and visual artists of all nationalities.
For the association Les Lauréats de l’Intelligence de la Main®, which brings together all the laureates of the Liliane Bettencourt Prize pour l’Intelligence de la Main® awarded by the Bettencourt Schueller Foundation, Anahita Vessier nurtures the large family of over 120 talents and key players in the crafts scene in France. As a partner collaborator and organizer, she stimulates exchanges, meetings, and collaborations among talents. She encourages and strengthens ties with the art market, both in France and abroad.
Never forgetting that every artistic quest is a quest for freedom, Anahita Vessier is a jury member of the Habib Sharifi Prize, named after a Franco-Iranian poet who, like her, experienced exile. This scholarship was founded to support artists of all disciplines facing uprooting.
